We are temporarily reviving our Children's Blog to provide some resources for families who are stuck at home during this period of social distancing due to COVID-19. We will put together a variety of activities for you and your families every day at 1:00 pm. Watch for weekend Boredom Busters on Saturday and/or Sunday. See which ones you can do, and if you get the chance, share the results with us on any of our social media platforms, which will be listed at the bottom of this blog.

This is a fun and different twist on a paper airplane! You can make them fly, or leave them flat and hang them for a starry decoration!

Painting with q-tips never gets old! Trace out your stars first, then fill them in with paint. If you have star-shaped cookie cutters, you can also dip them in paint and use them for the outline of your stars! So many possibilities!

This combines a touch or origami with some simple crafting skills. Use any paper you have at home to make a variety of shapes and sizes of stars, then mix and match to make some colourful and fantastic crafts!

These ones seem like they're really tricky, but really you just have to be patient and follow all the steps. This is a great activity for the whole family to get involved in. See who can make the most colourful stars, the biggest stars. Hang them everywhere!
