TD's Summer Reading Club Week Six: 7s and 8s

The Summer Reading Club has come to an end. Where has the time gone?

This summer we've explored Niagara Falls, the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza, the Colosseum, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

We were outside for our wrap-up pizza party this week. We tried to make the Leaning Tower of Marshmallows, made some wobbly Jenga towers, played Musical Chairs, Whack-a-Mole, and Monkey in the Middle, made cool things out of playdough, Fed the Frog, and cooked some yummy pizza!

For those wanting our Easy-to-Make Pizza recipe, it goes as follows:

Spread pizza sauce over a medium tortilla shell. Add slices of ham/pepperoni/pineapple/cheese or whatever toppings you would like. Place in the oven at 350 for a few minutes (until the cheese is melted). Take out, cut into slices, and serve!

Congratulations to Dominic, who won our Pisa Puzzle Prize Pack! We draw for the weekly prizes and grand prizes today at 4:00 - right away!

I'm sad to see the Summer Reading Club go, I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I look forward to seeing everyone back again next year!
