We're having a Minions party at the Library on Saturday, January 9th!
We're watching the movie, doing games and crafts, and of course feeding our little minions! Getting squirmy during the movie? No worries, we'll have the crafts and games set up outside of the room, so you can go back and forth!
All ages are welcome for this FREE event!

I'm a Little Teapot
I'm a little teapot, (point at self)
Short and stout! (hands on your hips, bend your knees and back up)
Here is my handle, (hold out one arm, then bend out your elbow and place your hand on your hip)
Here is my spout. (bend other arm out like a spout)
When I get all steamed up hear me shout! ( tilt head back and shout "ahh!")
Just tip me over and pour me out! (lean over on your spout side)
Frosty the Snowman
ABCs
For our craft, we painted snowmen!
Materials:
- construction paper - toilet paper tubes - paint - crayons
Our 4s and 5s groups had a special visitor for story time this week! His name is Copper!
Copper visited the Library for some stories and snacks! The kids gave him some treats and lots of scratches and cuddles. He was very excited to meet everyone, and sit on his Mommy's feet while everyone petted him!
What do you think, should we bring Copper back another day?
For snack, we had some delicious mixed fruits!

Snowflakes Keep Falling On My Head (replace "rain" with "snow").
Snowflakes keep falling on my head! But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red. Crying's not for me! No, I'm never gonna stop the snow by complaining, Because I'm free! Nothing's bothering me!
For our craft, we made some Christmas trees!
Materials:
- Construction Paper - Cut out green triangles - Cut out tree trunks - White circles (for snow, snowballs, snowflakes, etc.) - Cut out yellow stars - Markers - Glue
Twinkle twinkle little star,

For our craft, we made some silly jester hats!
For snack, we had some sweet grapes!
Just a couple more story times until our break for Christmas. Next week we're making a Christmas tree scene!
Five cranky crabs were digging on the
shore.
One swam into a net and then there were four.
Four cranky crabs were floating in the sea.
One got tangled up in seaweed then there were three.
Three Cranky crabs were wondering what to do.
One dug a deep, deep hole. Then there were two.
Two cranky crabs were warming in the sun.
One got scooped up in a mug. Then there was one.
One cranky crab was smarter than his friends.
He hid between the jagged rocks.
That's how the story ends.
