School has started and we are all getting back into a regular routine. Storytime and GASP are starting back up!
Storytime for 2's and 3's starts on September 11. You can choose from a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday class. They start at 10:15 and run until 11. Children are attended by parents or caregivers. We read stories, tell fingerplays and rhymes and make a craft. Call to register. The session runs for 6 weeks.
Fun for 4's and 5's starts on September 14. It runs Fridays at 1:15 until 2pm. Children need not have their parent or caregiver present but they do need to be in the building. We read stories, tell fingerplays and rhymes, and make crafts. Call to register. The session runs for 6 weeks.
GASP is a Great After School Program for children 7-12 years old. It runs on Thursdays from 4-5pm. Children play games, do experiments, make art and have a snack.
Teens in the Library starts on September 17th from 5:30-8pm. It runs monthly on the third Monday of the month. It is for teens 13-18 years old. This month they are reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman (or any other fantasy novel) and then watching the movie.
Teens will also be preparing for the Zombie Walk in October.
