3. Fingerplay: Colour
Blue is the Lake, (point to the floor)
Yellow is the sun (point to the sky)
Silver are the stars,
When the day is done, (wiggle fingers in the air)
Red is the apple, (make circle with hands)
Green is the tree (raise arms over head like branches)
Brown is a chocolate chip cookie for you and me! (rub tummy))

4. Sing: Can You Find? - sung to “The Mulberry Bush”
Can you find the color red,
The color red, the color red?
Can you find the color red,
And hold it up in the air?
Substitute the names of other colors for red.

7. Craft: Coffee Filter Flower
-markers, coffee filters, spray bottle, pipecleaners
Colour filter with washable markers, spritz water on filter to blend the colours together. Turn into filters into flowers by twisting pipecleaner stem.
