We sang:
Colour Rhyme
Rainbow fish, rainbow fish,
Swimming in the sea.
Won't you please share a scale with me?
A red one for my mom,
Orange for my dad,
My sister sure likes yellow,
Green would make her sad.
Blue is best for brother,
Purple for my puppy!
As for me, the best of all!
Pink will make me happy!
Three Rainbow Fish (Tune: Three Blind Mice)
Three rainbow fish,
Three rainbow fish,
See how they swim,
See how they swim.
Their tails go left and their tails go right,
Their gills breathe in and their gills breathe out.
Have you ever seen such a colourful sight,
As three rainbow fish.
For a feltboard story, we sang Five Rainbow Fish Went Out One Day
Five rainbow fish went out one day,
Into the sea and far away,
Mama fish said, "glub, glub, glub, glub,"
But only four rainbow fish came back.
Four, three, two, one ...
Sad mama fish went out one day,
Into the sea and far away.
Mama fish said, "glub, glub, glub, glub,"
And all of her rainbow fish came back!
Next we made our craft:
For snack, we had some delicious grapes! Next week, ice cream!
