6 Weeks of Colour - Ice Cream!

Our last week of colour got chilly! We learned all about ice cream!

Interesting facts about ice cream:

- The ice cream sundae was born in 1880 (136 years ago!)
- The tallest ice cream cone was over 9 feet tall! (scooped in Italy)
- A cow gives enough milk to make 2 gallons of ice cream per day!
- It takes about 50 licks to finish a single scoop ice cream cone
- Brain freeze happens when ice cream touches the roof of your mouth
- 1 in 10 people admit to licking the bowl clean after eating their ice cream
- 1 in 5 people admit that they share their ice cream with their pet
