We read: The Lorax.
This story is Miss Corrie's favourite Dr. Seuss book! It carries such a strong message in a brilliant, colourful way.
All the way from "I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees for the trees have no tongues." to "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
We sang "The Cat in the Hat" to the tune of "The Addams' Family".

Finally, we made some awesome Thing 1 and Thing 2 hair hats!
Materials: Blue and red construction paper, scissors, glue, printable Thing 1 and Thing 2 circles.
