Fingerplay – Number Fun
It's time for a little number fun. Let's begin with number 1!
That's not the only number... What's the next number we want to do? 2!
That's not the only number we'll see. The next is number...3!
Numbers numbers! We need more! Next in line is number...4
Good gracious, sakes alive! Oh my gosh it's number... 5
Let's keep counting just for kicks. The next number is number...6
Counting numbers is just great let's add two more.. 7 and 8!
The next to the last number in line is certainly the number...9
I'm afraid our game must end because we've reached the number 10
But for a little added fun, let's count back to number 1!

There were ten in a bed and the little one said "Roll over, roll over" So they all rolled over and one fell out

Action poem: Monkeys On the Bed
Five little monkeys jumping on the bed  One fell off and bumped  his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,  " No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Four little monkeys jumping on the bed, three little monkeys jumping on the bed, (and so on).

Craft- Narwhal
Materials: Body and flipper on narwhale cut from blue construction paper, white horn cut from white cardstock, scraps of light blue construction paper, googly eye, glue, markers

Tear scraps into little pieces and glue onto the body. Glue on flipper, horn and googly eye. Draw on mouth. Colour if wanted.
