Lap-Sit: the Beginning

Today was our first day of Lap-Sit!

If you don't already know, Lap-Sit is a program for children between the ages of 0 and 3, where they can come with their parents and enjoy fairy tales, songs, nursery rhymes, and puppet stories.

Today our theme was Farm Animals.

We sang: Old MacDonald Had a Farm and B.I.N.G.O.

We read: This Little Piggy's Book of Manners, by Kathryn Madeline Allen, The Great Sheep Shenanigans, by Peter Bently and Mei Matsuoka, The Three Little Pigs Pop-Up Story, and Inside a Barn in the Country, by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

Lap-Sit is a free program, that runs every Saturday from 10:15 - 10:45 am. Registration is required, as space is limited. If you haven't already registered for this program, or want to know more, call the library at 403-887-2130.

We'll see you next week!
