1000 Books Week Thirty-Three

I hope everyone is staying out of the chilly weather! Should be looking up next week!

Lots of excitement in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program this week. A big Welcome Aboard to Noah, who just joined up! Congratulations to Eleanor, Isabella, and Hailey for bringing back their reading sheets, and winning some prizes!

Our last Star Reader of the Week was Phoenix!

This week's Star Reader is Jace! Congratulations!

Blogger is still giving us issues with pictures, hopefully we'll get it fixed soon!

Our last Book of the Week was "Don't Laugh at Giraffe".

Our thirty-third Book of the week is, "Andrew, Where Are You?", by Christine Noble.

"Where did Andrew go? Andrew keeps
disappearing, upsetting his family in the
process. Will he keep hiding or will he finally stop?
Can you help his family find Andrew?"
Christine is a local author, who has graciously donated her books to the library. Check out her site: http://www.kikkyboo.com/

Family Literacy Day is coming up, and the Sylvan Lake Library has a special guest coming to join us. On Saturday, January 26th, at 1:00 PM, Ronald McDonald will be here to engage and entertain. This program is free, registration required - call or stop by the Library to register, space is limited. We hope to see you there!

Stay tuned for our next Star Reader and Book of the Week!
