It was a good week for the 1000 Books program. Three new children entered the program, eager to read new and exciting stories!
Last week's Book of the Week was "Dinosaur vs. the Potty", by Bob Shea. A delightful tale for parents and children discovering the ups and downs of potty training.
This week's Book of the Week is an oldie, but a goodie. "The Tale of Peter Rabbit", by Beatrix Potter.
"When Mrs. Rabbit beseeches her four furry children not to go into Mr. McGregor's
garden, the impish Peter naturally takes this as an open invitation to create
mischief. He quickly gets in over his head, when he is spotted by farmer
McGregor himself. Any child with a spark of sass will find Peter's adventures
remarkably familiar."
A classic tale the whole family can enjoy! (It just so happens to be this Programmer's favorite children's book!)
