Science Experiment – Erupting Volcano
Materials: playdough,
vinegar, baking soda, food colouring, small cups, paper plates
Use the play dough to make a volcano surrounding a small cup.
Place on a paper plate. Add teaspoon of baking soda to cup. Add red food
colouring to vinegar and allow children to slowly pour some into the cup and
watch the explosion!

Craft- Volcano
Materials: blue construction paper, black volcano cone cut from construction paper, squares of red and yellow tissue paper, cotton balls shredded, glitter glue, glue.
Glue black cone onto blue construction paper. Scrunch squares of tissue paper and glue to top of volcano, glue on wisps of cotton for smoke. Add touches of glitter glue for glowing magma!
