We had a fantastic time at this year's
Dinosaur Dig!
It took place from 1-2 on Saturday March 10th. We started off reading some great pop-up books.

Let's Look at Dinosaurs by Frances Barry.
To kick off the dig we had a sand pit to dig for dinosaurs and bones and some gigantic dinosaur puzzles to complete. Then it was time to get crafty.
There were dinosaur hats to decorate with dino stickers, some fossil fun with clay to imprint dinosaurs and shells into and finally some deconstruction with our very own dirt/plaster bowl to excavate and find the dinosaurs and fossils.
After all this dusty fun it was snack time. We enjoyed Dinosaur Nest brownies and Jurassic Juice while hearing a couple of more dinosaur stories.
